It can also extract cytochrome C, nucleic acid, glutathione, coagulin, coenzyme A and adenosine triphosphate. In the microbiological determination of vitamins, beer yeast is often used to determine biotin, pantothenic acid, thiamine, pyridoxol and inositol, etc.
The colony of beer yeast on the AGAR medium of wort was milky white, shiny, flat and with neat edges.Asexual reproduction is dominated by budding. It can ferment glucose, maltose, galactose and sucrose, but not lactose and mellitose.
